we appreciated rooms and staff. the place is 0.2 miles away from tokyo downtown. there was a comfortable bar on site.

Good location. Near eateries & shopping centres. Only takes 5 mins on foot to reach Shinjuku train station. This is the 3rd time I have stayed in this hotel. Hotel staff are polite & helpful. Good service. Airport Limousine Bus service stops directly at this hotel.
Plaza Comfort rooms are generally quite clean but probably needs a minor revamp.

The hotel was located near the subway. The rooms are big and the staff very useful. We found the swimming pool very useful in August!

the location was very good and the rooms a good size but there were no international channels on the TV

It is a gracious and fine hotel, with convenient location, excellent service, great rooms, and as helpful and friendly a staff as one could wish. The price is not low, but for this level of hotel in Tokyo, it is reasonable. And of course it is absolutely clean, and the breakfast buffet is good. There are several fine restaurants in the hotel as well as a convenience store and a bakery. One can easily walk to the world's largest train station to go anywhere, or shop in the multitude of large and small stores in and around the station.

What I liked best was the proximity of the hotel to Shinjuku station and hence the hub of mobility within the city.
My room was in the Southern Tower. Decoration is aging, which is all right, but there was dirt stains on many walls and carpets, and the daily cleaning wasn't as thorough as I saw in other cheaper hotel (Sunroute Plaza for instance). But it is still ok.

This is a very corporate, large, high rise hotel. It is five minutes from the best shopping in shinjuku and the train station. Extremely clean and meticulous attention to frail throughout the property. Very helpful staff with directions and arranging tours. We will definately stay there again.
